Latasha Vick, DDS
Dentistry is the ideal combination of medicine, health, and art. It fulfills my scientific curiosity, my dedication to my community, and my need for creative expression.
Being a dentist means that I have the opportunity to do two things that are very important to me: serving and educating people. As the oral health/systemic health connection continues to gain attention, I enjoy helping people meet their oral health goals and help them attain better overall health. I also enjoy the opportunity to change people' s mind about the dental profession. Going to the dentist should not create fear, but rather the peace of mind that comes with knowing they are in very good hands.
I am so pleased to be a part of the team here at Accent Dental. Being part of this group allows me to serve the community with genuine kindness and respect. I appreciate the opportunity to help people, whether it is enhancing their smile, eliminating tooth discomfort, or helping them achieve their oral health goals.
Education and Continuing Education
I completed my undergraduate education at Oklahoma State University and continued on to grad school at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, earning my Master' s degree in Health Sciences. I then attended Meharry Medical College for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery, graduating in the top ten percent of my class.
My formal education gave me a solid foundation of knowledge and training upon which I continuously build. Participating in continuing education allows me to stay current with the newest and most effective dental treatments and technology so that I may continue to provide exceptional care to my patients.
